GENERAL INFORMATION
The Adventure Island Playbarn is a family run indoor childrens play centre. Established in 1993 in a 2500 sq.ft. converted corrugated iron dutch barn.The main indoor play structure is on two levels and consists of slides, a ball pond, aerial runway, biff and bash bags, chimney climbs, boulder crush, and rat runs. There is also a Toddler Area for children aged three years and under featuring its own ball pond, slides, soft rockers, and tree houses. Parents are welcome to join their children on the play equipment or relax in our seating area and read one of the newspapers provided. Our cafeteria has an extensive menu serving hot and cold food for children and parents. The Playbarn also has an outdoor Activity Play Garden, featuring many Little Tikes climbing frames, pirate ship, construction area, and wildwood roadway. You are welcome to bring your own picnic which can be eaten in the garden or under cover in our marquee.

Available from 6.30pm to 8.30pm. Minimum 30 children. £5 per head self catered. £8 per head fully catered.
SAFETY INFORMATION
Admission is restricted by height: under 4'9" only. 1 hour sessions stating on the hour and half hour, may be enforced at busy times. However we do try to let the children play for as long as possible when not busy. In the interest of hygiene and safety, socks & tops MUST be worn when using the play equipment. Long trousers and long sleeved tops are recommended. Every care is taken to ensure the children's safety and the play equipment is supervised in order that it is used safely, but the children remain the responsibility of the adult who accompanies them, and who MUST stay on the premises during the children's stay. Not all the play equipment is suitable for all children, please ensure children in your care play within their capabilities. Adults may accompany children onto the equipment at their own risk.
PARTIES
LET US TAKE THE STRAIN OF ORGANISING YOUR CHILD'S BIRTHDAY PARTY
We can supply you with the perfect Birthday Party that your child will never forget. On booking your child's party we will supply ADVENTURE ISLAND Party Invitations to be sent to the guests, and on the day each child will have a FULL 90 MINUTES to play on our indoor & outdoor play equipment, at the end of which they will sit down to have their food & drink in their own private Party Room.
The Sainsbury's JUNGLE ROOM
Superbly decorated with Jungle Book style characters, under a planet strewn night sky. This air conditioned room will accommodate up to 50 children.
STARSHIP ADVENTURER
The children will feel they are sitting aboard their very own AIR CONDITIONED spaceship, looking out over planet earth and witnessing a Star Wars space battle. Look out for some of their favourite space characters sharing the ride with them.
PARTY MENU - SELF CATERED
You supply the food and drink, we clear up the mess.If you wish to borrow plastic cups, plates, bowls, spoons etc, there is a £10 charge per 20 children.
FULLY CATERED
Squash to drink whilst the children are playing. Assorted sandwiches and rolls, (cheese, ham, jam, honey,chocolate spread, marmite) chicken nuggets & cocktail sausages, carrot, cucumber & grapes, crisps, Skips, Hula hoops, Quavers etc. Followed by assorted cakes and biscuits (Jaffa Cakes, Jam Tarts, Party Rings, Jammy Dodgers etc.) Rounded off with Jelly and Ice Cream, topped with Smarties. You just bring your own birthday cake. £8.00 per child.

PARTY BAGS
Can be supplied for an extra £1.50 per child (Birthday child gets theirs FREE).
Bags contain: lollipop, freddo frog chocolate bar, skittles, fizzers, rainbow drops, sherbert tubes, and a suitable toy.
PLEASE NOTE: Whilst the play equipment is supervised in order that it is used properly, all the children remain the responsibility of the Party Organiser. All parties are for a minimum of TEN children. Party organisers will receive a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. A £10 deposit is payable in advance, balance due at the end of the party. The Parties operate in conjunction with our regular opening hours. *Please note that we DO NOT accept credit or debit cards.
